Holy Spirit Conference Speakers
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER | ED PIOREK
Ed Piorek, known as Eddie to his friends, is a Pastor Emeritus, Speaker and Author who helps people connect with the Father’s Love.
With 50+ years in ministry, Eddie has a deep connection to the Father’s Love and the enormous impact it can have in people’s lives, including his own. He and his wife Janet (who has been his partner in ministry for the past half century) embody and live out the message of the Father’s Love in their lives.
In the mid-80’s, Eddie had a dramatic encounter with God as Father. After years of intense labor in planting the congregation which would become the Mission Viejo Vineyard, and speaking at the Signs and Wonders conferences with John Wimber (the founder of the Vineyard church movement), Eddie became increasingly aware of a deep-seated fear of failing to perform up to public expectation.
In the midst of a palpable experience of that fear, God revealed himself to Eddie as a loving Father. That experience forever changed him, his life message, and ministry.
Eddie knows first hand about the Father’s Love, and wants to share it with you.
special guest speaker | david piorek
Raised as a pastor’s son in the Vineyard, David Piorek spent his formative years soaking in the reality of the presence of the Holy Spirit. As David grew up, his love of the Bible blossomed in parallel with a burgeoning love for literature and music. These passions have culminated, after years as an English teacher, musician, and church liturgist, in a career of preaching sermons that fuse literature, art, and scripture to find innovative new ways of proclaiming God’s mercy for a broken world. The center of David’s heart for ministry is the desire to invite a new generation into a transformational relationship with the eternal and radical love of God.
David lives in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with his wife and son, where he teaches English and works as a church liturgist.
