Our mission at the North Jersey Vineyard is to know God, discover our purpose, find freedom in our lives, and make a difference in the world around us.
Jesus said: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20). We seek to live this out faithfully and obediently in all that we do, focusing on Jesus and bringing God’s Kingdom here. In this way, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we can make a difference in the world.
OPEN DOOR COMMUNITY CENTER
God opened the door for a tremendous opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community by initially supplying food to so many in need — to live out our mission and vision in real, tangible ways to make a difference in the world around us. What started out by feeding a few dozen families as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic has now grown to a thriving non-profit outreach operating in conjunction with the North Jersey Vineyard.
SERVE DAY
We believe God had planted us in our community for a reason, and we actively seek ways to serve our neighbors in Jesus’ name. Whether it’s raking leaves in the fall for the elderly or taking care of their spring cleaning, we love these opportunities to connect with our wider community and make a difference in their lives.
GLOBAL MISSIONS
The North Jersey Vineyard has a relationship with the Dominican Republic, and throughout the years we have sent a missions’ team to partner with a local church and assist with a variety of needs. What an awesome privilege to “go into all the world” and share the Good News with others!
COMMUNITY KIDS
Kids are so important to us, not only as part of our church family but within our broader community as well! Our Kids Church hosts several events throughout the year in order to invite kids of all ages from our community to join us for exciting adventures and learning more about Jesus!
Operation christmas child
Each year we have the opportunity to participate in this program by Samaritan’s Purse that reaches millions of children in some of the most remote areas of the world with an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift and the message of the Gospel, demonstrating God’s love to them in a tangible way.
CHRISTMAS OFFERING
One powerful way that we can live out our mission and make a difference is through our annual Christmas Offering, an opportunity for us each year through the month of December to respond to God’s generosity to us so we can make a generous impact in the world around us.
