Sometimes the simplest prayers are the best prayers. One prayer that has been prayed by the church in many forms over the past 2,000 years has become very important to us … it is the prayer: “Come, Holy Spirit.”
Partnering with the Holy Spirit in all aspects of prayer and ministry — whether inside the church or out in the world — is one of our core values. Jesus said he would send “power from on high” to equip his Church. We are the Church — everyday Christians taking Jesus at his word, listening to his voice as we create space for the Holy Spirit to move and work in the lives of those we meet, no matter where we are. prayer ministry
Jesus said: “Just as the Father sent me, I am sending you.” We believe that what he meant is that we can learn how to do the same things he did — that we can learn to pray effectively for the sick, deliver people from spiritual oppression, speak God’s heart directly to people through prophecy and words of knowledge, and help bring people into a fuller experience of God’s love. The primary way we do all of these things at the North Jersey Vineyard is through Prayer Ministry.
Our trained Prayer Ministry Team is available after each of our Sunday services.
healing rooms
Throughout the year, we open up the church to anyone who is seeking extended prayer for any situation in their life. Sometimes for more effective results, we need to spend more time praying with people than the few minutes after a weekend worship service. People come to our Healing Rooms with a variety of needs: physical, spiritual, emotional. Our Healing Rooms give us an opportunity to “soak” people in prayer for up to 30 minutes. Our trained Prayer Ministry Team are on hand at these important and life-giving gatherings.

intercessory prayer
Do you have a heart for praying for others? Do you often find yourself listening to God and praying for people and/or situations? Do you desire to see God move through prayer so lives and circumstances will change?
Intercessory Prayer is simply praying on behalf of others and/or for specific situations and circumstances. Often referred to as “standing in the gap,” Intercessory Prayer is a way to build bridges between God and the people for whom we are praying. The Bible says that both Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us (Romans 8:27), so we then are able and called upon to intercede on behalf of others.
Consider joining our Intercessory Prayer Team as we gather together every Sunday morning before the second service to seek God’s heart for our pastors, our leaders, our church, and our community and watch God move through the power of prayer.

PRAYING FOR OUR KIDS
Whether you're a parent or guardian, a relative, or you have a heart for praying for our children to be raised up as impactful leaders in God's Kingdom, we invite you to join this dedicated group who is committed to praying regularly for our kids as well as for parents and care-givers.
2nd Friday of each month | 7pm

NEW! PRAYER GROUP FOR WOMEN | SATURDAYS AT 9AM
All women are invited and encouraged to join a new prayer group called “Women of Valor” which meets every Saturday at 9am in the Cry Room at the church. “Women of Valor” was created out a desire to provide a safe and sacred place for women to gather, pray, encourage, and support each other. Email us if you are interested in joining or would like more information.

We open our doors to all who want to powerfully encounter the Holy Spirit during a night of prayer and worship! These special gatherings, held on Friday nights at 7:30pm throughout the year, are full of the presence of God. With extended worship, powerful times of prayer ministry and prophecy, and life-impacting encounters with the Holy Spirit, our Holy Spirit Nights are not be be missed! School of Kingdom Ministry [ SoKM ]
Want to go deeper and grow your foundation in God and who you are in Christ? The School of Kingdom Ministry — based out of The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois — is a supernatural ministry school that is being hosted in Vineyard churches all over the world. Our goal is to provide a cutting edge teaching and equipping school for anyone who is interested in growing in a naturally supernatural lifestyle, right where you are!
Over the course of two semesters (fall and spring), this weekly school provides practical experience through the ongoing ministry of the church. Areas of teaching include engagement in prophecy, healing, power evangelism, and deliverance, as well as a fuller understanding of Kingdom theology, the theology of the Holy Spirit, and your identity in Christ. Tuition cost and upcoming dates to be announced each semester.
