We take the biblical mandate to care for others quite seriously.  One of the ways we do this is to keep a pantry of food here at church.  The first Sunday of every month, people bring in donations of canned goods and household necessities for those in our church family who have trouble making ends meet.  Additionally, we collect gift cards to the local grocery store so that those who need help can go to the store to get the perishable items we cannot keep here at church.  Bringing in a bag of non-perishable groceries once a month is a great way to care for the people right here in our midst!
